Grade 6 Curriculum

The STANDARD PROGRAM for Grade 6 runs between 08: 30-16: 00/16: 45 and includes:

a) Subjects from the NATIONAL CURRICULUM
• Romanian language and literature – 4 hours
• English – 6 hours (intensive class)
• French – 2 hours
• Mathematics – 4 hours
• Physics – 2 hours
• Biology – 2 hours
• Social education – 1 hour
• History – 1 hour
• Geography – 1 hour
• Religion – 1 hour
• Plastic education – 1 hour
• Music education – 1 hour
• Physical education and sports – 2 hours
• Technological education and practical applications – 1 hour
• IT and ICT – 1 hour
• Counseling and personal development – 1 hour
• Club – “Mathematics and sciences in the knowledge society” – 1 hour
• Debate club – 1 hour/week

b) HOMEWORK CLASSES – 8 hours / week
Romanian language topics – 3 hours / week
math homework – 3 hours / week
various topics – 2 hours / week
