I want both my children to consider school a place which can only provide good memories. IOANID is a second home for them and their peers, and teachers are already a second family. IOANID means more than studying and becoming knowledgeable. IOANID is also represented by the sports field and the playground, witnesses to children’s games, discoveries and acquisitions. It is the best option my kids could have and I am sure all the other children feel the same.
IOANID is the place where I am very happy to leave my child, Tudor. Happy circumstances brought us together, in the IOANID family. We were shy in the beginning, thinking Alexia wouldn’t adapt to the 5th grade. Three years have passed and we would never leave. Mihai, the youngest son came here too and we’ll stay for three more years. We have been always guided and influenced by our children’s reactions. If they are happy, then we are happy, so when they don’t want to miss school for anything in the world it means we made the right choice. I am very grateful especially because IOANID convinced both of my children to read. Surrounded by dedicated and loving people, they got to love them, too. It is funny to see how, at the end of every school year, students struggle to decide who the teacher of the year can be. We really love IOANID and I think it shows!
National Assessment exam
IOANID teachers are writing a new story about success and results, within our new high-level intellectual modeling project - IOANID CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE. The activity of the centre will give our students the chance to prepare themselves at a higher level in the study disciplines where they excel: Romanian Language and / or Mathematics, along with the IOANID team of teachers according to a specially prepared schedule.
This is an educational program provided by IB – International Baccalaureate, that has modern educational approaches and curriculum, which means that the IOANID staff (head of school, PYP Coordinator, Romanian and English teachers alike) all take part in training courses of at least a month, provided by the IB.
Class activities are designed according to the IB standards and philosophy. Our institution has an international consultant assigned by the IB who counsels our staff and who will organize evaluation visits at IOANID.
