Grade 4 Curriculum

The STANDARD PROGRAM for Grade 4 runs between 08: 30-16: 00/16: 45 and includes:

a) Subjects in the NATIONAL CURRICULUM
• Romanian language and literature – 5 hours
• English – 10 hours
• Mathematics – 4 hours
• Natural sciences – 1 hour
• History – 1 hour
• Geography – 1 hour
• Civic education – 1 hour
• Religion – 1 hour
• Physical education – 2 hours
• Play and move – 1 hour
• Music and movement – 1 hour
• Visual arts and practical skills – 1 hour
• Drama club – 1 hour

b) PYP (PRIMARY YEARS PROGRAM)
• IT – 1 hour / week (with IT specialist)
• Library – 1 hour / week (in Romanian and English)

c) HOMEWORK CLASSES – 7 hours / week

d) SPORTS ACTIVITIES
• Rhythmic gymnastics / Basketball – 2 hours / week
