Raluca Pinzaru

The teaching profession requires courage, trust in a better future, anchoring in reality, originality, innovation and discovery, and Raluca believes these are also defining elements of her personality.
Raluca graduated from the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Bucharest, majoring in German-Spanish Philology and from the Faculty of Law at the University of Bucharest. After that, she completed Teacher Training at the University of Bucharest (Module 1 and Module 2) and then obtained her international teaching certificate (TKT).
During her teaching career, Raluca has worked with students of all ages, from 4-year-olds to adults, and developed her ability to create lessons that are not only engaging, but also extremely useful and tailored to the age of the learners. In 2017, Raluca started teaching the British curriculum. She prepared students for the Cambridge IGCSE (First and Second Language) and A Level (including literature; both CIE and AQA) examinations. She was also coordinator for AQA Higher Project Qualification and Extended Project Qualification.
At IOANID School, Raluca prepares students for the Cambridge IGCSE German and Spanish (Second language) and A Level German and Spanish examinations. She is also lead teacher of the Cambridge International Project Qualification and grade 9 Form Tutor.
She continually stands by her students on the path they have chosen, and is committed to supporting each of them equally. She is committed to working collaboratively to build a united community based on friendship, trust and respect.
